According to studies in the US, the average security professional's annual wage grew by about $6000 in a month. The US Bureau of Labor Statistics projects the job growth for information security analysts from 2016 to 2026 is 56%.

There were approximately $4000 cyber-attacks daily in 2016. That is a 300% increase from 1000 cyber-attacks experienced daily in 2015.
