Rebecca Enonchong - Tech Woman Africa


Rebecca Enonchong has been named by Fobes as one of the top female technopreneurs in Africa in 2014. She is the founder of AppsTech. AppTech is a technology company that offers innovative application solutions to businesses in countries all over the world. She is also the co-founder and treasurer of several tech startups company which also includes I/O Spaces in Maryland USA and likewise the chairperson of ActivSpaces in Cameroon.
             
Miss Enonchong was born in Cameroon to Barrister Dr. Henry Ndifor Abi Enonchong in the year 1967. She moved to America at the age of 15 where she started selling a door-to-door newspaper. At the age of 17, she became the manager of the newspaper company. She went to the Catholic University of America to study Economics. She holds both Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science in Economics.
           
She founded AppTech in 1999 in Maryland as an enterprise application solutions. In 2002, Miss Enonchong was named the Global Leader for Tomorrow (GLT) by The World Economic Forum od Davos in Switzerland.
           
In 2013, she was recognized as the African Digital Women Award finalist. She is likewise among the board of directors for the Salesforce.com Foundation. She is a great example for every woman inspiring to become a technopreneur.
